Ballymote Heritage Events 2014 – Celebrating 30 Years (1984-2014)

Founded on 30 May 1984, Ballymote Heritage Group celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2014.   Over that period it had met without fail each month and has continued to devote itself to its stated aim of raising awareness of all matters of Heritage.

Highlights of its activities include the Ballymote Heritage Weekend which this year celebrates its 25th year having taken place each year since 1990 at the August Bank Holiday and its publication of The Corran Herald each year since 1985.
